I am new to Imagium. So far working good for my Visual testing needs. May I know what is the difference between Default and Strict mode?

I could not see any difference in the detected violations.

Can someone clarify?

Dear User,

This is a very valid question and many times human eye cannot tell the difference.

Strict mode gives pixel by pixel comparison just like various other tools in the market. The drawback of using this mode all the time is that it gives unwanted failures every now and then because of minor pixel variations which are even not visually perceivable. So you end up spending a lot of effort dealing with false positives.

Default Mode is an AI mode which removes human in the loop and deals with invisible pixel noise on its own. Imagium's  proprietary algorithm filters out unwanted noise and prevent false positive.
